He has brought innovation to several asset managers (Robeco, MN and Achmea IM) regarding performance measurement and evaluation. Besides that, he is experienced with market risk modeling and valuation of liquid and illiquid investments.

Corné combined responsibilities as project manager, line manager, and manager of managers with roles as chairman of valuation committees, GIPS committees, and member of risk management committees of asset managers and banks. Besides that, Corné is known for a large number of ancillary positions in the field of performance measurement, appearances at performance events, and publications.
