Roundtable Pension Agreement

On December 9, Probability & Partners organised a roundtable about the pension agreement (het pensioenakkoord) in response to our whitepaper. This whitepaper focused on important topics in the board room while elaborating and implementing the agreement.

Based on specific questions held by the invited pension funds, we discussed the challenges and considerations they face.

The discussion focused on the following topics:

  • Governance of the transition
  • Transfering penion rights or not?
  • Investment strategy

It was an interesting, interactive session with valuable discussions. As we are only at the beginning of this process, we face much uncertenties. Therefore, this was a good session in which we exchanged our views about how this process can best be approached.

Also, we have found that there are many topics that ask for elaboration. Over time, more and more will become clear and new questions will emerge. For that reason, we plan to organise more roundtables in 2021.
